Can i use baseball cleats for throwing the javelin?
Please help out here guys. My coach told me to get some shoes for the javelin, i wasn't sure if he said cleats or spikes. I bought some baseball cleats after my friend suggjested that they would work the best. There the cheapest anyways. They have the spikes at the heel which is good for javelin since you have to stop on your heel. My question is would baseball cleats work for this?
They would probably work, but spikes would be better...

Baseball vs. Soccer Cleats?
So I have soccer tryouts in a few days and I need to bring cleats to it.
This is the first time I've played soccer in probably 5 years, so I don't have any soccer cleats and I don't have time to buy new ones (because my parents are out of town).
So I was wondering if I would be able to wear baseball cleats for the tryouts? (I will end up buying actual soccer cleats after I'm on a team)
The baseball cleats I have are not the ones with metal spikes, they're all rubber. Just the rubber-stub things on the bottom. Would those still work for soccer tryouts do you think?

but trust me its hard as anything to play soccer in baseball cleats
the ball will tend to bounce of your foot at weird angles and baseball cleats are very bulky to be playing soccer in
You'd probably be better off just trying out in like some indoor soccer shoes or just sneakers.
You should probably try running around outside playing soccer in your cleats tonight to see if it effects your game at all.
