Baseball Uniform Material
Should we boycott sports until they go green?
My friend is boycotting sports and when I asked why he talked about the energy that is used to light the stadiums and arena, the non-renewable materials used to build the stadiums, the fact that teams travel constantly by plane, contributing to global warming. How can I argue with that? It's senseless to use all those lights rather than just play basketball and hockey games outside, or play baseball and football games during the day so there is natural sunlight, rather than waste so much energy with the lights and the giant scoreboards, etc. not to mention all the co2 from the massive amount of traffic that these things bring and the teams refuse to wear fair-trade cotton uniforms. Is there a better way to get high school, college, and pro sports to go green, or do we have to boycott them and cause them financial hardship for them to change? It's frustrating that these people refuse to make simple changes on their own to benefit the world.
Well it would help more to get the greens off their couches and out in the street participating in the sports themselves. Might make a whole .00000000001% difference in Co2 production

Speed Youth Baseball
As a new youth baseball coach, how do I decide who plays each position?
I am a new youth baseball coach, and I'm admittedly very clueless on how to run things. I was thrown into this position when the old coach unexpectedly quit.
None of these kids have really played any particular position, and I don't know how to decide where to put each of them. How do I decide who plays third base, left field, etc? How do I factor in fielding skill, arm strength, running speed, etc?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Ask them where they would like to play. Hit them some groundball and flyballs and see whos good at groundballs and whos good at flyballs. If you have a lefty and hes tall put him at first because leftys dont play infield other than first. If you have a small quick kid that can field groundballs nicely I would put him at second and 3rd baseman should have a good arm and shortstop too. Maybe put the kids that arnt so good in the outfield because I remember when I was in little league all the kids who wernt good and were not athletic always played outfield because in little league not many of the kids hit it into the outfield. Catcher should just be able to catch and throw pretty well and block pitches in the dirt. For a pitcher make sure he as accuracy.

Baseball Training - Increase Hitting Power & Speed w Device used by Pros, Youth and Softball Teams
To use or not to use image stabilization?
I've heard different opinions on this. I will be shooting some youth sports soon. Typically outdoors in daylight. Soccer, little league baseball and pop warner football. My shutter speeds will be at minimum of 400 and usually quite a bit higher and want to do some continuous shooting. Does the I.S. have any effect when shooting continuous mode and/or does it slow down the frame rate potential? Any pro or cons or recommendations are appreciate. If relevant, I shoot with Canon gear.
While I do have a 2.8 70-200L, it's non-stabilized. But my other lenses are. On bright days, in AV mode, shutter speed is usually way up there, especially if ISO is at 400. And for these sports, is it better to use AI or AL SERVO? Not up on the difference.
It won't do much at those shutter speeds. Won't change the framerate either but it will drain the battery a bit faster.

Button Gray Baseball
When I try to set up my fantasy baseball team to classic mode, the submit button is greyed out. It won't take?
the submit button is grayed out and won't let me submit. I have tried safari browser, IE 6, IE 7 and IE8, fire fox latest version on apple and windows XP 3 and vista. It doesn't work and Yahoo sports has not written me back...I am on my fourth day waiting to hear from them. I don't want to do the drag and drop, cause don't like it. I am at wits end...Its not my internet cause I tried outside of my house on IE 8 and it still didn't let me make the change using the submit button.
Does this have to do with Yahoo or is there anything that can be done on my end to correct the problem?

I have rebooted a few times and it still does not work...
I think it might be a programming problem. I open and close the browsers, reboot on four different machines and it doesn't do anything. Why does Yahoo have the drag and drop option when I bet most people don't use it....
Under the submit button is a place to roster edit type. Click on the classic. If you have done this, try changing it back, reboot and try again. I have not had a problem and I hate the drag and drop also.

a few days ago my throat started to hurt badly, my mom checked it and she said i have something red?
near my throat, it hurts when i'm eating drinking or not doing anything. my mom said that it will go away soon
can anybody tell me what is it?
Who knows, it could be anything. If you still have your tonsils, it could be an enlarged/inflammed tonsil. You should check it with a doc though, in case it is something more serious.
