Trainer Coaches Would you be able to be a coach and an athletic trainer?
Is it a good idea to be both at the same time?? Just wandering...
Rachael,
Since you liked my first answer, let's see if you like my answers to your two new questions.
There is no reason in the world that you couldn't be both a coach and an athletic trainer at the same time. They would be very complementary careers in fact.
When I first got out of college the coach at the local high school ran a program on Wednesday nights where anyone could show up at the track, and he would put us through the paces for the distance we wanted to train for. He didn't have a set fee, but most people paid him $20-50 per month, and considering that he had 20-30 people show up most weeks, that could add up to a nice amount of extra cash to supplement a coaches salary.

As the trainer and coach, is it right for mayweather sr. to tell Hatton to retire after he lost to Pacquiao?
After receiving remuneration from Hatton, why did he publicly told Hatton to retire after the defeat? What's the deal with sr.?
It's nothing about Senior. Any boxer who suffers two humiliating losses like that is best for him to retire while he's still healthy. Hatton accomplished a lot already, it's just time for him to stop.
